ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs on Sunday launched an SMS service for the help of intending Hajj pilgrims to verify authenticity of private tour operators.

The SMS service 8331 will provide details about any private Hajj tour operator and save people from being cheated in the name of cheap Hajj services.

According to the Hajj Ministry there were around 798 private tour operators who were authorized for sending pilgrims on Hajj.

The ministry had also launched five apps for facilitation of Hujjaj.
